Developing Leaders – Continued
STEP® – Student/Teacher Emergenetics Profile
Helping Students Make Positive Changes
with the Student/Teacher Emergenetics Profile
STEP is a program designed to aid educators and parents in better understanding how students ages 9-18 think, behave and learn. Based on Emergenetics and a broad body of current brain and behavioral research, the STEP program provides valuable insight for students and teachers to make learning faster and immediately applicable. This brain development model recognizes we have a combination of genetic tendencies to think and act in certain ways (nature) that are then modified through socialization (nurture). The simple easy to take online assessment is evaluated by certified Emergenetics practioners.
During a STEP program, students, teachers, or parents will learn how to:
- Improve performance
- Identify best learning methods
- Improve personal relationships
- Build stronger, more creative and productive learning groups
- Raise personal productivity
- Communicate more effectively
- Coach and support successfully
- Handle conflicts in an appropriate manner
STEP program services include:
- Individualized student profiles
- STEP-intensive faculty training
- School-site student workshops
- Parent training
- Family consultations and workshops
- Assistance in building learning communities
